About Me

Jodie Stuart.jpg

I have been obsessed with writing and public speaking since I was a child (way back then I dreamt of becoming the next Judy Bailey.  However, three years at university and a Communications degree later, I realised 'daily news' wasn't for me.  All wasn't lost though, as while I was studying I found a love of radio and public speaking.

I went on to become a copy writer for a local radio station, before embarking on a two year stint as a European Tour Guide.  Once back in New Zealand I continued my career in media, marketing and events.

In 2015 my husband and I were visiting Wanaka for a wedding when we absolutely fell in love with the life here.

Within weeks of being back in Auckland, we decided to hand in our notice, sold nearly everything we owned and made the 3day drive to relocate to the South Island to follow our dream lifestyle.  By January 2016, Central Otago had firmly become our home.  Everyone thought we were crazy, but we knew in our hearts we had made the right decision and we have not looked back since.

We have settled on a lifestyle property about 10minutes out of Wanaka township in a small settlement called Luggate. We live with our charismatic toddler, a very energetic border collie X puppy and our princess of a cat.

Since living down south I have learnt to ski and love making the most of the hiking and walking tracks here. I do miss the ocean though and I like to get back up north to see my family and for a fishing fix whenever we can.

I pride myself on always going above and beyond to ensure I can create a personalised ceremony that is the exact vibe you are after. As a result of my approach, I often have couples, families and their friends comment that they thought I was a good friend of the family.

Now you know a little about me, I look forward to getting to know a little bit about you.
